I have been a professional sailor for 20 years having competed for the Americas Cup 3 time and the Volvo ocean race once.I have competed in 17 Sydney to hobarts ( 2 x line honours - 2 x handicap)3 fastnets ( 2 x line honours- current record holders)7 x maxi worlds (4 x first)3 x middle sea ( 3 x first) etc...As I have a history in boatbuilding and a large amount of project management experience, I am very interested in new boat construction and refit work to race yachts. I have contacts all over the world and few would doubt I'm a hands on operator who treats the owners money with due respect and expects a fair deal for all in return.

Wade carried out all the pre purchase diligence for purchse and has managed all the modifications to bring her up to speed including a rig rebuild, A new Keel, New Rudder and has overseen the sail program. Added to this in early 2019 Wade was appointed skipper that led to a close 2nd place overall in that years Hobart. On 2020 Gweilo won the Blue water point score in what was a condensed year with the cancelation of the Hobart race. Even with Wades commitment overseas with 11th Hr Racing Team the relationship and close involvement continues in 2021

Morgan Yachting was contracted over see the project at McConaghy boats Wade had several staff to carry out the list along with the contractors that included scrutineering all engineering and plan approval, New Jib tracks, New bowsprit, Steering wheel conversion, New engine, New electronics, waterproofing and other deck gear changes for offshore needs.
