Have spent the great majority of my working life in the electrical industry.Served a 5 year electical appreticship in general electrical wiring from domectic to comercial.Spent a number of years working in the construction industry as an electrician on the maintenace of the underground construction works then as an electrical fitter installing generators and switchyard equipment on the Manapouri power scheme. A marvel of man and enginering.Considerable electrical expierence in overseas construcion work from underground mining to onshore and offshore oil and gas drilling rigs.A Power controller at New Zealands Aluminium Smelter responsible for the control and distrubution of High Voltage supply.Devolopment and writing of HV and other operating procedures for High and low voltage systems.at NZAS. ~500 in total.Considerable experience in HV maintenance systems using PMO and SAP.
