Responsible for the core establishment and management of a newly formed cohesive heavy weight expedited LTL network, made up of ten agent partners, currently servicing fifteen cities within the Northeast. As a result of my transportation expertise BX Solutions successfully completed, agent selections, inclusive of contract negotiations, training material development and required collaboration on the TMS system to successfully launch the Northeast Network in February of 2013 with a regional sort operation based in Elizabeth NJ.

Responsible for managing branch that included 128 personnel, nine managers, five supervisors, 11 sales representatives, and an operating budget of $120 million that involved the following operations: Sea Import Sea Export Brokerage Air Import & Export Domestic Air Ground Operations · Increased revenue from $25.5 million in 2003 to $141 million in 2010, an increase of 453%. · Managed branch that was ranked #5 of 48 branches in U.S. for revenue and overall performance. · Initiated conversion of electric powered forklifts, which improved green footprint and reduced cost. · Targeted generic pharmaceutical air freight market and grew annual sales from $.4 million in 2003 to $3 million in 2006. Special Assignments: · Assigned by executive management to six person team that developed operating procedures for handling all cargo at nine major market locations in the Northeastern U.S. - Nine markets generated annual revenue of approximately $350 million. · Identified mis-routing of three million pounds of air freight and initiated IT change that eliminated mis-routing of interstate movements and saved approximately $2.4 million annually. · Appointed as Quality Manager at three major markets (JFK, Charlotte, Philadelphia) from 1996 - 2011. - Each branch passed all internal and external quality audits during 15-year period.
