Current2010-Assisted in the 2010/2011 Recommissioning and start-up of the 470 000 ton/year of methanol plant that had been shut down for 10 years. Assisted in punch-listing, lockout/tag-out, permit writing, permit audits.-Gained experience in water treatment process with demineralization train (WAC, SAC, SBA, MB) and condensate polishing for ultra pure waters, cooling towers, compressors, steam turbines, surface condensers, waste heat boilers, chemical control/treatments for the associated waters, aerial fans, vapor recovery skids, lube/seal oil skids, start ups and controlled shut downs, trouble shooting, cleaning and commissioning of new piping and equipment.-Gained experience within the process department, distillation equipment, gas reformer, gas compressor, syn-gas converter loop, high pressure steam (10800 KPa).2013-Current Trained as a control room panel operator with both a Honeywell TDC 3000 DCS and a Delta V DCN. Assisted with the commissioning of a new distillation expansion project. Continuously assists in the training of new hires, summer students and other junior employees. Assisting crew supervisor with supervisor level tasks. Taken part in risk ranking and pre-job planning meetings.
