Administer intake eligibility and appropriateness of client participation in accordance with corporate guidelines/policies.Educate clients in the areas of alcohol/other drug use and abuse, personal responsibility, and the causes and consequences of alcohol/drug use.Coordinate referrals to contracted mental health for clients with co-occurring disorders.Facilitation of education treatment and relapse groups on drug relapse and prevention.Evaluate client progress while in treatment, provide discharge recommendations including the development client driven discharge plan. Maintain effective professional contacts with referral sources, courts, other treatment facilities and community resources.

Develop, plan and implement initiatives and programs to provide outreach and training to the general public. Facilitate collaborative partnerships with SCAC and community organizations, government agencies, and underserved communities through information dissemination, training, and outreach initiatives.Review and manage the approval and processing of invoices and reports for HIV/AIDS outreach projects in a fiscal year. Promote and increase the awareness of SCAC resources, services, and programs by presenting, conducting training sessions, and exhibiting at scientific-based meetings, conferences and community events. Manage and provide oversight of contracts, ensuring the timely delivery of tasks and monitoring contractors' technical performance which support the various outreach programs within SCAC.Participate in meetings with advisory groups and serve as an effective liaison with SCAC staff and other agencies on issues relating to HIV/AIDS, environmental health, and outreach. Define target audiences and adapt messages to communicate appropriately with specific populations via the use of a variety of communication media including presentations and written articles.Develop evaluation tools and conduct continuing analyses as assessments of the effectiveness of evaluation methods for HIV/AIDS outreach projects.Coordinate test schedules, evaluate and summarize test results, strategize, assess, and recommend the course of action with regards to outreach, treatment and education for clients.
