My main role at Hybrid Linings is to tender on commercial construction projects, negotiate and ultimately win subcontracts for delivery. This starts with conducting quantity take-offs to create bills of quantities for quoting, reviewing pricing of suppliers/ subcontractors and submitting a competitive tender price. This then leads to the negotiation of the subcontract and once successful, the management in delivering the project. This typically consists of managing tradesmen, suppliers, subcontractors and importantly effectively communicating with key stakeholders within the project such as the client, consultants, builders, site managers and other project managers to produce a final product. The above is all undertaken while ensuring the project is completed on time and is profitable for our company.
