My portfolio is responsible for the post aligning the financial function across the Industrial businesses, plus the management of the full operational back office and all operational structures. I am strategically driving process refinement of the financial and back office teams across the following Industrial brands: BLU, BLU CYNERGY, COSTARS, ACMS, FXO and CAPABILITY CLEANING. Appointed as an EXCO member in 2015.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Full management function of a staff compliment of 120 (including 8 senior managers), which consists of the following operational areas: finance, reporting, risk and compliance, payroll, collections and procurement.• Management of all compliance and risk management.• Management of all internal and external audits, where we have achieved consistent clean audits.• Process efficiency and optimisation management.• Ensuring continuous business process improvement.• Cost savings – which has also considered the consolidation of a number of brands, implementation of cost tracking tools, creating awareness and analytics around cost savings. In addition, margin improvement that also considers the profitability at client level, working closely with the BI team to obtain analytics for example: the cost to serve a client.• Operational project management – the full management, driving all projects to completion.• Management of the SHEQ portfolio and team.• Managing all aspects of legal and compliance matters.• Payroll and debtor collections management.• Financial, commercial, and all matters relating to.

I was promoted to Financial Executive for the Adcorp’s Blue Collar portfolio, a subsidiary of the Adcorp Holdings, where I was accountable for the financial strategy for multiple operating companies and divisions. During this period, I was responsible to merge and consolidate multiple operating companies and oversee various restructures with the operation companies. Key Responsibilities• Ensure the financial strategy aligned to the overall Adcorp Group strategy.• End to end financial management, ensuring profitability, margin and cost saving management.

1 May 2015 transferred to Capital Outsourcing Group a subsidiary of the Adcorp Holdings where I was responsible for the full financial function and team within this operating entity. Key Responsibilities• Reviewed all operational processes, refined the processes through the establishment of various SOP’S, and driving overall compliance across the business. • Identified and implemented efficiencies across the business and operational enablement.• Financial analysis, review and clean up.• Splitting out the South African operations from the Africa operations. Capital and Capacity merged to form a new company called BLU.

I initially joined as Group Finance General Manager where my strengths were quickly realised, and was promoted to Group Financial Manager in September 2012 where I have had the opportunity to be involved in many strategic financial projects.Key Responsibilities• Assisting with the preparation of the Consolidated Annual Financial Statements, half year reporting, Integrated Annual Report and preparing Annual Financial Statements at a statutory entity level across the Group.• Technical tax and accounting research and advice.• Preparation of Derivative accounting policy and related hedge accounting documentation.• Fixed asset review and “clean-up”.• Assisted with the mapping of the electronic monthly packs.• Monthly reporting for one of the divisions within the Group.• Development of financial templates, group policies and procedures.• Staff informal training on tax and other technical aspects.• Assisted with preparation of documentation to ensure compliance with requirements of the Companies Act.• Debtor’s revaluation and accounting for the related foreign exchange.• Establishment and implementation of a Listed Secured Corporate Bond Programme.• Covenant reporting.• Preparation of quarterly audit committee and board pack submissions.• Cash and treasury management.• Financial analysis and reporting.• Rolled out an alternative funding initiative - a Corporate Bond Programme involving the Rating Agency and bankers. We used the debtor’s book as security. This was a sizable project that ran for approximately 6 months involving all operating entities with the Adcorp Group.

I joined the Special Services Group as a manager at Deloitte from May 2011 where I gained key managerial and other interpersonal and technical skills. Client Secondment and Key Functions:Gavilon (Pty) Limited (Fertilizer company) - Assisted with the inventory reconciliation and calculations of expected inventory use during a period.Wesbank (Banking) - I was responsible for data analytics and integrity testing, system integration evaluations and the team management.Adcorp Holdings (JSE Listed company) - I was responsible assisted with provisional tax computations, preparation of financial statements for entities within the Group.

I was seconded to the Deloitte offices in San Jose California for a period of three months where I gained international experience and exposure to US GAAP. Major clients during my time in the US include:Natus Medical Incorporated – Health Care and Medical equipment supplier, andTetra Sun Incorporated– A start up entity in the research and development of solar cells

I worked in Audit and Assurance for three years on Clients which include but not limited to Anglo American Plc (Head Office), Adcorp Group, Tata Automobile Corporation Proprietary Limited, Union Carriage & Wagon Company Proprietary Limited & THE UCW Partnership, Dimension Data Proprietary Limited, Metorex Mine (Ruashi Mining) located in the DRC, Glencore Shanduka Coal. During this time I developed excellent technical and financial analytical skills. I have co-ordinated a number of audits and managed audit teams with various sizes. I have been able to strengthen my communication and presentation skills with finance and non-finance people alike. I have established myself in a dynamic working environment which has been both rewarding and challenging enabling me to develop as an employee, and as an individual.
