I have 7 years of IT support and customer support experience, all with the University of Texas at Arlington. I believe in loyalty to any company that proves it is worth it. I have never once received a complaint from any our clients my entire time at UTA, and have been able to achieve satisfaction from all I have helped. I manage over 500 assets for inventory purposes. I have always achieved an annual competition rate of 100% ensuring all items are scanned and logged with proper location, acquisition date, and current custodian. I provide hardware and software technical support for over 300 faculty/staff and 3000 students daily. I'm well versed in re-imaging and encrypting machines as well as adding new machines to our domain. I maintain software updates, and new software request via SCCM ranging over 4 labs totaling over 200 computers. I also support 26 classrooms in our building ensuring all technology in the rooms PC, projector, document camera, and live capturing are always functioning. I was on the team that helped design and set up out Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab. The lab cost 1 million to fully create. I helped oversee all purchases for the room and renovations, as well as installing and setting up up all technology and terminals. I meet with vendors regularly to see what new technologies are available to the industry and how they could improve the experience of our faculty, staff, and students. I am able to research any new and unfamiliar products that may have been purchased so I may be able to support them any way necessary. My crew always are happy and productive at their job, and I try to strive for not only an efficient work environment but a pleasant one as well. In my opinion and experience that a happy work environment is a much more productive one. I'm a volunteer for the emergency response program for our university. If any kind of threat occurs whether it be weather, building malfunction, or violent threat. I'm in charge of evacuation procedures, assisting those with disabilities, and crowd control. I strive to be best employee I can be, and take on as many responsibilities as I can effectively accomplish.
