Allen & Allen Company was founded in 1931. The company specializes in supplying and sourcing high quality building materials. It operates a lumber division, decorative hardware & plumbing division, windows and door division, and a custom millwork manufacturing division. Hired as an operations consultant and, shortly thereafter, offered a full time position to oversee its new Showroom operations. Promoted to head of the company’s hardware division. In 2007 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer for the entire company. Primary responsibilities include: Managing all HR functions, personnel, and the day to day operations at the company’s three locations. Managed the company's banking, insurance, accounting and legal relationships. Promoted to interim President and CEO, while transitioning the company to its new ownership.

Director of Operations for One Design, LLC, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan with offices in Annapolis Maryland. The One Design 48 (1D48) was the first one-design sailboat class in the big boat category. World-class sailors and teams, including America’s Cup and Volvo Round the World Race teams sailed in the class. Responsibilities included the development of the companies legal agreements, sponsorship programs, marketing materials, while also supervising the company’s full service event management operations. Sponsors, guest and participants were entertained at 1D48 sailing venues in Key West FL, Miami FL, Baltimore MD, New York NY, Newport RI, Chicago IL, San Francisco CA, and Honolulu HI.
