I started working for this company in the summers between the school year at the age of 14 as the property clean up and contractors helper. I started out as I said picking up roofing shingles, excess lumber cuts, bricks, and everything else. I quickly learned in my down time how to do masonry, framing, plumbing, roofing, and how to operate the bob cat and excavator. I eventually talked the boss into teaching me how to communicate with the customer and how to process job information and evaluate work performance.
