In this roll I managed the shop which often meant delegating work between 2-3 guys working on the same goal as meDealt with manager type tasks when dealing with workload and time linesMaintain a whole fleet of on road and off road equipmentA very self driven job where I tackled obstacles given to me in a tight time frameStarted to get all equipment on a Preventative Maintenance scheduleWorked on equipment as small as plate compactors all the way up to McCloskey CrushersHandled wiring, diagnostic, engine reseals, etc. on all of the ok road equipment

Did all aspects of machining associated with the Electro Chemical Machining area, all though my main focus was rebuilding the LPT pressure boxes. Most of the machining was non-ferrous materials which added a whole different aspect to machining. Had to handle the needs of production and the workload in the toolroom to dictate my own work flow. Worked with Engineers to make changes on certain drawings to affect final products.

Learned all aspects of what GE Rutland did throughout my three year apprenticeship. Focused on the tool room in the first and third years, during the second year was all throughout production.
