I reduced part per second cost by increasing labor utilization. I set up 5S method of Housekeeping in one cell, and was working on the 2nd. I was a member of the Safety Committee. I was part of a cross-functional team commissioned to set up a new line to better utilize space in the plant by consolidating multiple programs on one line as well as eliminated excess manpower.
