Wade gained renewable energy experience long before renewable energy became a household term by co-developing and constructing the first licensed fuel ethanol plant in Texas. Wade has over 20 years of experience as an agriculture consultant including crop production, harvest, transportation, storage, and processing. Wade has worked extensively in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado, Arizona, and Kansas. Wade’s experience has proven very useful in promoting Energy Projects with landowners, rural businesses, and communities.Wade started full time work in the energy industry in 1998 helping to develop wind energy projects which included site selection, collecting landowner information, MET tower site selection, landowner meetings and negotiating land leases. Wade’s participation in wind development resulted in the construction of 500+MW of wind power. Wade was also one of six participants that founded the “Santa Fe” electric transmission project which is now the Centennial West project formerly owned by Clean Line Energy Partners. Wade organized and attended meetings that included negotiations between Wind Energy Developers, Balfour Beatty PLC, Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) and the State of New Mexico to help bring new transmission resources to the state.In 2011, Wade developed a user-friendly GIS mapping system which auto updates project information for use by all project stakeholders including project owners, managers, right-of-way personnel and construction service providers. Wade also participated in re-developing a right-of-way project database used to manage projects from easement acquisition through the completion of construction. Wade has worked on multiple projects including the Lubbock ERCOT integration, CREZ 300 miles of new 345kV electric transmission lines, 20+projects spanning 400+ miles of new and rebuild electric transmission lines and substations in the Midland, Texas area and over 500 miles of 345kV electric transmission line upgrade projects in multiple locations.Wade along with Felicia Rawlins founded Legacy PSG, Inc. (Project Services Group) in early 2017 to provide individualized services for our clients’ unique goals from project conception through completion by leveraging EXCELLENCE, INNOVATION, and TEAMWORK. Legacy offers Land Services, Construction Services and Technology support. Today, Legacy serves investor-owned utilities, municipalities, as well as private and publicly held energy providers.
