My practice focused on matters relating to taxation, business law and estate planning.I assisted clients with instituting and modifying estate plans, tailoring advance directives, powers of attorney, wills and trusts to each client’s particular needs. I also experienced a range of probate matters.I was regularly involved in the representation of corporate entities in formation, general business, and commercial matters. I regularly assisted clients in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, and mortgage financing transactions. I was responsible for preparing and reviewing product costs for customer quotes, engineering changes and cost reduction exercises. I tracked and managed freight costs, including vendor selection and management of the third-party logistics company. I also maintained primary responsibility over general ledger accuracy of standard cost, inventory, capital and variance accounts.Monthly and annually, I prepared and reviewed capital project budgets, monitored and reported on project progress, asset capitalization and depreciation, and reported on property, plant and equipment, and capital accounts. I also coordinated the annual physical inventory among manufacturing personnel, auditors, vendors and customers. Projects included analysis of freight costs, inventory accuracy, cost education, product change order process evaluation, and business continuity.
