Director Of Catering
- Establish and Maintain positive and mutually beneficial relationships with: professors, executive assistance, students and external clients of the Northwestern Campus.- Recruitment representative for Sodexo at Michigan State University, fall 2011. Speaking with and screening potential candidates- Manage Catering Department’s various initiatives and projects, driving annual sales over $1.4 million from services for over 125,000 customers per year.- Assess needs of clients from a wide variety of socioeconomic and other ethnographic backgrounds, throughout the University to ensure contracts are detailed and meet the needs of all departments’ guidelines.- Perform and facilitate all on-campus site research and make recommendations on logistical set ups that best meet the needs of both internal and external clients.- Lead and manage the planning, execution and follow up of events in the University setting: orientation, holiday, graduation, board of trustees, community involvement and conference services.- Ensure adherence to company safety, financial and procurement policies and that procedures are in compliance; coach, develop and lead hourly, supervisory and management staff in the process- Maintain constant, detailed and accurate written and verbal communication lines between clients, chefs, sales, marketing & operational staffs.- Oversee all logistical, operational, financial budgets and customer service for the department.- Member of the NorAm Olympic Team, assisting with efforts at the 2012 London Games
