Previous employer, Orbital ATK, was acquired by Northrop Grumman who transferred my employment from a contractor to a full-time employee. At this time, I was assigned the role of a Chief Process Engineer responsible for the mentoring of engineers in process improvement and process capability with the ultimate goal to reduce scrap by 20% from the 2018 baseline. Independent Consultant contracted by Orbital ATK as a Project Manager for their Manufacturing Enterprise System at the Lake City Army Ammunitions Plant. The initial project was delivered on-time and successfully completed with an initial return calculated to be $4.7M. This was the foundation for the project to extend across all models of the targeted cartridge type. The final project is targeted for closure in Feb., 2020 with a total of $7M return to the company.

During my tenure with Teva, I was able to play many roles and enjoyed working with multiple functions and teams to build a foundation of processes and process improvement experts. The various roles delivered the following actions and results...- lead five North America Lean Six Sigma deployments resulting in a cadre of experts certified through the completion of training and mentoring through the completion of 100s of projects,- worked specifically within the Specialty division with over 20 process leads resulting in process ownership, a deeper understanding of the processes, prioritization for improvement opportunities and ultimately; the foundation of documented core processes to reduce project time for belts.- gathered specifications and change requests for the Order to Cash commercial processes resulting in the design requirements needed to complete the Build and Release phase of the new SAP system in the United States,- lead the development and localization of training and documentation material, associated with the SAP implementation, resulting in the resources necessary to train over 3000 employees for the release of the production system.Teva Pharmaceuticals has been developing and producing medicines to help improve people’s lives for more than a century. It was here that I was given the privilege to startup a new division for CPS-PS and lead the Lean Six Sigma training contract for the U.S. Army. What an honor it was. I built a team of trainers and coaches doubling the number of employees for the company. The excellent performance of the team generated greater than 71% of billable hours, an increase of annual gross income by 80% in 6 months and a 50% extension to the original contract.
