I research plant and animal invasions, and am currently working with the non-native aquatic plant water chestnut (Trapa natans) for my graduate work at Cornell University. I'm working to develop the biological control program for water chestnut and build a better understanding of the natural history and ecological interactions of the plants and beetles involved in the biocontrol system.
