Developed USMAPS first internal network and connected it to Fort Monmouth's network. Created USMAPS' first Computer Club to upgrade old "286" computers to create networked student computer labs and a Learning Center. Developed training and taught faculty rudimentary networking and Microsoft Office skills. Created/equipped a network administration office (with MS Exchange Server) and staffed/trained/managed personnel. Established, trained, and managed first ever network accounts and Internet access for Cadet Candidates in the history of USMAPS. Developed and operated USMAPS Grades/Scheduling/Reports capability to include development and production of report cards and official transcripts.

Fort Gordon, Georgia

Communications and networking requirements definition, approval, funding, development, testing, training, fielding, and operation for Army warfighting units. Originiated the Combat Service Support (CSS) Automated Information Systems Interface (CAISI) and took it through the first Functional Users Test and Evaluation (FUT&E) with the 82nd Airborne Corps. The CAISI became and is still a critial system in the Army today.

South Korea

First Post in the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. Responsible for the health, welfare, and morale of 30+ men and millions of dollars of sophisticated communications equipment with a mission to support South Korea with Tropospheric Scatter (long haul, beyond line-of-sight) communications in the event of renewed hostilities with North Korea.
