Wade is the General Manager of Nutrishop Riverside/Moreno Valley which is a nutrition based family business in the city of Riverside and Moreno Valley, Ca. He oversees all business operations including: inside/outside sales, marketing, B2B relationships, staff training, payroll, and daily store operations.Wade has always had an interest in community and business. At UC Riverside, he held President, Vice President, and Director positions throughout his time at UCR. He represented his university to the Riverside community on multiple occasions and at conferences all over the state/nation. After college, he had the opportunity to be offered a full time position from his summer internship at Ross Stores as an Operation Supervisor; where he got to practice his management abilities with over 50 associates and learn a new language.When presented with the opportunity to manage the family business, he immediately accepted the challenge to take his community connections and management abilities and turn one of Nutrishop's failing locations into a top store in the city of his alma mater, Riverside. After a successful year of operation, the quest to find a 2nd location began and was chosen in Moreno Valley off of Day Street. As of today, Nutrishop Riverside and Moreno Valley are both a 'Top 20 Store' in the nation with multiple corporate awards. They are also an Official Partner of UCR Athletics and Notre Dame High School and a registered product supplier for UC Riverside. They work closely with the UCR department of strength/conditioning, UCR Sports Medicine and student athletes. They also speak/present to students on campus’ and recreation centers at UCR, CBU, La Sierra University, and Arlington High along with attending Health Fairs/Events yearly at company’s such as: PepsiCo, City of Riverside, JensonUSA, and more.Outside of work, Wade likes to stay involved in the community where he is a member of the Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce, a UCR Chancellor's Associate, and a board member for the UCR Athletics Association. He is specifically interested in Downtown Riverside projects (where he currently resides), city/business development, community events, and health & wellness fairs/events. He also loves to travel and has visited 10 countries and counting...Wade has a bachelor's degree in Economic/Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside and has two nutrition certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and International Fitness Association (IFA).
