(EMC Storage) Installation and configuration of HBAs and associated firmware/drivers and scanning and configuration of LUNs/Volumes. Creation and administration of RAID groups, storage groups, aggregates, volumes, LUNs and the provisioning of these to client hosts. Capacity management and planning Follow documented processes i.e. implementing change control incident procedures. Liaising & meeting with municipality Authority IT Service. Providing advice on selection and purchase of IT equipment consider the progress with third-party maintenance contract suppliers Troubleshooting technical problems and implementing solutions. Hardware System upgrades storage, backup solution and Servers. Purchasing of IT Equipment and software in line within agreed budgets. Supporting a multi-location IT infrastructure for several thousand users. Provide fast and accurate troubleshooting and rectification of reported faults. Asset management and repair logistics. Monitor all data center assets for tracking information. Project consulting.
