1- Conduct audit engagement on various Bank’s processes, departments (e.g. AML/CFT, Procurement & Administration, Human Resources, transfers, etc.) and branches (cash and non cash operations, account opening, AML/CFT, loans, etc.).2- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and their compliance with local laws, Central Bank regulations, internal policies and procedures. 3- Conduct the audit work diligently, efficiently, and cost effectively.4- Communicate findings to Senior Management after the audit and draft comprehensive and complete report of the audited area.5- Review working papers of fellow auditors and assess quality, accuracy and sufficiency of audit evidence.6- Perform quarterly follow up for implementation of corrective and preventive actions to address deficiencies raised during previous audit missions.7- Maintain well documented and referenced files with proper support of evidence for audit engagements performed.8- Coordinate (upon need) suspicious and fraudulent issues with Group Internal Audit for investigation.9- Continuously improve the audit work processes.10- Prepare the annual risk assessment and audit plan. 11- Train internal audit staff (when needed) and ensure the supervision of their audit engagements.12- Other duties & responsibilities including consulting engagements.

1- Conduct internal audit missions over Byblos Bank Lebanon and Foreign Entities (Belgium, France, United Kingdom, Sudan, Iraq, Cyprus, Armenia, Congo, Nigeria & UAE) to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.2- Identifies key control points and weaknesses in the system or function being audited. 3- Draft the audit program to be approved by the Head of Audit department. 4- Communicate findings to senior management throughout the audit and draft comprehensive and complete report of audit area.5- Follow-up on reported findings.6- Reviews internal policies and procedures to ensure they are written clearly, comprehensively, provide sufficient internal controls, and are in compliance with Central Bank regulations. 7- Prepare the risk universe and annual plan for subsidiaries. 8- Supervise and monitor the day to day progress on work assigned to Internal Auditors. 9- Review audit workpapers prepared by Internal Auditors assigned to ensure satisfactory completion and initialing to evidence the review.10- Provide or assist in providing training, coaching and guidance to internal auditors/auditors in conducting audits and on others audit related issues.
