Direct responsibilities for new business, trading and MBA (Media Beyond Advertising). Enforced training and helped rebuild planning, buying and networking systems, processes, protocols before rolling out global tools and research modules. In parallel, successfully helped resolve crisis on key network clients, mainly P&G in North Africa - probation lifted in June 2010; in April 2011, the team won General Manager’s Gold awarded by P&G for Media - and Nestle - performance evaluation score at 83.7 over 100 in January 2011, from a written warning in May 2010. Also led the transition of Nokia to Carat - during a time of mass resignations following the departure of the COO and Managing Director in Jeddah -, securing first half planning and buying for the brand before handover in July 2011. Also, successfully pitched and won numerous assignments including Etihad Airways, UAE Central Bank, Tanmia, Emirates Post, Hayat Kimya, Skoda, Cisco, as well as Nestle digital and P&G digital, both historically managed in house.Whilst leading media negotiations with suppliers in coordination with MServices, a new operation set up to consolidate Mindshare and Mediacom buying across the region.
