- Manages the day-to-day operations of the PCC host computers by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair. Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained. - Applies revisions to host system firmware and software. - Works with vendors to assist support activities.- Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that’s always up and running- Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments- Interact with the help desk to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed- Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups- Stays current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommends ways for PCC to take advantage of new technology

- Installing and configuring new technology to be used by the company, such as hardware, operative systems, and programs or applications.- Giving regular maintenance to existing hardware and computer systems.- Providing assistance to company staff or clients with technology-related issues, understanding the issue and its cause, solving the issue and Explaining the problem to the staff member or client.- Troubleshooting systems and applications:- Running diagnostics on malfunctioning hardware or software; and- Finding solutions for any issue and implementing it.- Replacing damaged or malfunctioning parts on hardware when necessary:- Writing reports on the status of all hardware and software in the company.- Implementing and assisting on the roll out of new applications or operating systems:- Learning about the new application or operating systems;- Running tests before implementing them in all systems;- Evaluating new applications or operative systems and Installing them on all systems in the company.- Setting up profiles, emails, and issuing access passes for new employees and assisting in all password-related issues.- Running security checks on all systems.- Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.- Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel.- Verify functionality of hardware and software components.- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone.- Assist employees with computer problems and answer their questions.

- Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.- Maintain system efficiency.- Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.- Troubleshoot problems reported by users.- Make recommendations for future upgrades.- Maintain network and system security.- Analyze and isolate issues.- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.- Evaluate and modify system's performance.- Identify user needs.- Maintain integrity of the network and security.- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.- Design and deploy networks.- Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.- Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.- Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.

- Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands. - Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means. - Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use. - Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department.- Finding solutions for any issue and implementing it.- Replacing damaged or malfunctioning parts on hardware when necessary.
