Operations Manager
CurrentWorking with the Student Association of George Brown College “SAGBC” as an Operations Manager, managing SAGBC $5-10M operations portfolio. •Overseeing SAGBC’s operations portfolio, valued at over $5M, which includes Student Engagement & Support Programs, capital projects, facilities, IT infrastructure upgrades, and the communications department. Responsible for managing daily program operations, including project management, risk assessments, needs assessments, change management, procurement planning and execution, budget management, and contract negotiations. Ensuring the alignment of programs and services with SAGBC’s vision, mission, values, and strategic goals.•Co-steward organizational Strategic Plan, working with strategic consultant, training staff on strategy metrics, and monitoring and evaluation systems. Lead programs data collection and analysis efforts •Directed the design and implementation of new student engagement initiatives and developed program initiatives performance measurement frameworks.•Strategist with SAGBC on-campus space expansion plans, contributing research, reports, studies, and messaging to attract GBC college administration to support SAGBC space expansion needs. And attend meetings with GBC leadership members discussing SAGBC space expansion strategies and operations expansion.•Manage the development of SAGBC food court tenants and business revenue-generating strategies and capital-building improvement projects.•Review and develop organizational policies and systems including but not limited to the organizational procurement system, Social Media Guidelines, workspace health and safety policies, accessibility guidelines for online platforms, Assets Management Guidelines, etc., and ensure smooth and effective operations•Drive continuous learning for our programs and services by developing data collection tools including feedback and assessment surveys and promotes an evidence-based data approach to enhance programs delivery
