CurrentProjects Sites: Ministry of Transport and Communications - Digital Society Sector Better Connections Program:A joint initiative between The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs and The Ministry of Transport and Communications providing free access to computers, online services and training for workers at their accommodation.Green Computer Club Project:The Green Computer Clubs initiated by the Ministry of Transport and Communications in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Ministry of Municipality and Environment to promote the use of Green IT solutions and encourage reducing carbon footprint in the community by focusing on the development of ICT skills and increase the green ICT awareness among youth in Qatar. Akhlaqi Qatar Inttiative:Akhlaqi Qatar initiative was launched to strengthen the concept of ethics among school students and how to represent good morals behind and in front of the screens, as well as to spread the culture of safe use on the Internet, in addition to avoid the situations that students might face in the digital world.Wasla Project:Wasla program targets secondary students only. It is an innovative intergenerational initiative to ensure effective digital inclusion of elderly. Wasla empowers the high school students to be “Digital Champions”, who will provide ICT guidance and support to the older members in their family (Ex. Parents, and grandparents). Digital Champions will transfer ICT knowledge about online services and activities such as internet shopping and Hukomi services. Learning resources are available in both languages Arabic and English. 5.
