Building Hope in the City (BHITC) is a faith-based organization based out of Cleveland that seeks to strengthen urban ministry and mission in Northeast Ohio and beyond. Unleash the capability of underestimated people,' focuses on four main areas of outreach: Housing and Community, Refugees and Immigrants, City Faith Leaders and Social Enterprise Business Ventures. As Fundraising and Communications Manager, I managed the creation of print and online donor communications, including newsletters, annual fund materials and other solicitations for designated ministry support. I also managed website content, social media and assisted with grant writing to secure support for BHITC from individuals, churches, corporations and foundations and oversaw the organization of all fundraising and donor appreciation events. I also managed key aspects of BHITC's Strategic Fundraising Campaign efforts, including coordinating duties with fundraising consultants, organizing steering team and committee meetings, coordinating donor meetings and campaign events.

Served as an analyst in Business Analytics, a department which is utilized as an internal resource in the Finance organization to collaborate with FirstEnergy business units to provide in-depth analyses and recommendations. During my time in Business Analytics, I co-led learning sessions for the department on understanding the three financial statements, served on the team responsible for corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and led teams of analysts in producing recommendations for complex sales processes, a timeline documenting the evolution of the FES business and a one-page overview of a new financial metric for communication across the company.

Investor Relations compiles financial analyses, earnings reports and communication materials for institutional investors, Rating Agencies and FE’s Board of Directors. During my time in Investor Relations, my biggest accomplishment was launching an iPhone and iPad app for FirstEnergy's Investor Relations in six weeks. I also managed content for the IR website and iPad/iPhone app, was responsible for development of the Board of Directors, Finance Committee and Treasurer’s reports, produced presentations members our senior leadership presented internally and externally and assisted in creating the quarterly earnings reports and investor conference presentation materials.

Performance and Process Improvement department in the Energy Delivery sector of the company. Focused on delivering high-quality solutions to processes that run the operations side of our business. Completed two-year implementation of the Work Management Improvement (WMI) initiative at The Illuminating Company (CEI) to increase efficiency and effectiveness in field work operations. Instructed training classes for more than 60 Field Technicians (Overhead, Underground, Substation), organized and scheduled implementation and training activities for more than 600 CEI employees and managed 22-week schedule for team of ten support personnel and determined necessary support for all impacted user groups at each service center on a week-by-week basis.

Within the Energy Delivery and Customer Service (ED&CS) organization, worked at the direction of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), to develop process improvements and standardization. Also, developed communication plans, change management materials and process support activities. • Part of the Work Management Improvement (WMI) initiative team to optimize resource utilization by implementing consistent planning, scheduling, execution and close-out processes with enabling technologies.• Responsible for change management and project communication, implementation and sustainability.• Coordinated safety effort for more than 8,000 ED&CS employees and Power Systems Institute (PSI) students, at the request of ED&CS, Senior Vice President.• Served on a team of ED&CS employees responsible for revising a safety handbook; developing and implementing a strategy for ongoing employee education of safe work practices and developing a tool to capture and respond consistently and timely to employee safety questions.• As part of the APH Initiative, presented to the ED&CS Executive and and Senior Leadership Teams, operating company leadership and participated in bargaining unit presentations.
