• Carry out complex field service activities related to Wartsila's products, overhauls and repairs according work plan, or their commissioning, trial tests, adjustments, repair and maintenance.• Perform troubleshooting on site to isolate and find root causes of failures in equipment’s.• Keep track of work details and provide deepen reports, including all the necessary details (measurements, photos, way of working, investigations, etc.).• Perform internal and external progress reporting on the status of assigned work. Keep track and provide the accounting of time, together with the spare parts to be used.• Lead and manage assigned self/team while on site, interacting with the customer to arrange for proper schedule to achieve desired scope. Be able to assure prompt feedback to work Coordination and Resources departments.• Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsila Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.• Assemble, install, test, and maintain mechanic equipment and apparatuses using hand and power tools.• Inspect completed work to ensure that repairs have been finalized correctly and that machinery and equipment are compliant to specifications and safety standards.• Proactively advice and promote available products and solutions to customers.• Instructs and directs if any maintenance trainees assigned.• Perform internal and external progress reporting on the status of assigned work.• Keep track and provide the accounting of time, together with the spare parts to be used.• Ready to travel on short notice.
