My focus was being on project teams that managed multiple high-voltage transmission line and substation construction projects simultaneously. Past projects included: OPGW upgrades, 230kV H-frame upgrades, river crossing with 500kV conductor, 265 miles of 1000kV DC line upgrades, cable splicing removal at substations, and the replacement of bus/transformer differentials in substations. During construction seasons I was the direct supervisor and point of contact for high voltage QA inspectors in field locations on active construction projects. Additional duties and tasks included documenting and facilitating construction RFIs, submittals, reviewing contractual documents against completed work, giving guidance and advice regarding equitable adjustments to contracts, and ensuring sites are inspected per drawings and specifications.

I was part of an inspection team that ensured construction activities, and quality control performed by contractors met government quality standards for a 1000kV DC line upgrade that spanned 265 miles.Some of my duties included the Inspection of delivered materials, installed structures, and hardware to assure the detection process of discrepancies by quality control met or exceeded customer required construction expectations.

• Reviewed daily quality control reports, inspections, testing, and notifications for discrepancies to ensure timely corrective action on-site• Coordinated foundations, lattice steel, and wire stringing inspections with QC field monitors functioning as QC point of contact for office/field management• Revised digital and physical as-builts, redlines, deficiency logs, and documentation for customer required QA/QC & Environmental deliverables• Primary field contact and customer liaison for environmental concerns including: Hazardous spills, site restoration, and permitting with daily worksite documentation
