Techwards is an organization working with both Fortune 500 companies and startups, focusing more on holistic development of its engineers. I have been engaged with Techwards even before it was formed. Techwards was formed by ex-Symantec leadership after its acquisition by Broadcom. As part of the leadership team in a relatively small team, I've had to wear multiple hats including, but not limited to, engineering, project management, HR, and most recently business development.- Founding team member at Techwards- Building teams and ensuring people growth. Grew engineering from 25 to 50 engineers; responsible for all engineers - Helped with hiring and team building for clients- Contribute technically in design and architectural decisions- Instrumental in defining organization structure; helped define process for engineering, performance review and onboarding/off-boarding- Successfully defined and executed first performance review cycle for Techwards- Stakeholders, client & team communication- Resource and team management; succession planning- Set company direction in terms of technology; identify gaps and align right resources- Project estimation, costing and delivery- Solving roadblocks to productivity

[I Joined Elastica in 2015 - at that time a funded startup. Elastica was acquired by Blue Coat Systems; Symantec acquired Blue Coat and (finally) in 2020 Symantec's enterprise division got acquired by Broadcom]I was part of team building a multi-tenant, SaaS based proxy gateway. This was an integral part of a CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) offering. The product was recognised as a market leader by industry leading analyst (Garner and Forrester) over multiple years. - Developed core features & functionalities on their core proxy product (C programming)- Additionally owned and/or worked on peripherals like Browser Plugins (Javascript, C++), Windows Agents and DLP supporting infra (Python).- Worked with multiple teams to integrate different offerings from within Symantec into the proxy.- Strong focus on scalability, high availability, performance and observability. Being an in-line proxy, if we fail, the customers have a potential network outage.- Was selected from within the team to lead 10+ engineers in our offshore office.The product is used by enterprise customers like Verizon, Equifax, Deloitte and Genpact.

- Defined a benchmarking framework for Platform as a Service (PaaS) with different underlying Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to compare elasticity & resource efficiency- Deployed CloudFoundry over OpenStack with different hypervisors- Defined cross layer elasticity metrics for the cloud- Generated use cases based on automation scenarios using industrial standards

I was involved in developing their SaaS product "EZOfficeInventory".- Was among the first 5 engineers who joined this SaaS startup- Helped take product live from inception to its first paying customers- Worked as a full stack engineer on Ruby on Rails, jQuery, and HTML/CSS.
