With a distinguished career spanning over four decades, I have developed unparalleled expertise in all facets of the Downstream Oil and Gas Industry, including acquisition, integration, and turnaround of both private and state-owned companies. A Mechanical Engineer from UET, Lahore, and an MBA from the USA on an East-West Center scholarship, my career began with notable contributions at Pakistan International Airlines and Pakistan Burmah Shell (PBS).During his early career at PBS, I was part of the management team that transformed PBS into one of Pakistan's leading Oil Marketing Companies. I held key roles in Shell Pakistan as Supply & Transport Manager and Retail Manager before being recruited as CEO of a struggling lubricant company in Saudi Arabia. Under my leadership, the company experienced a successful turnaround, and he spearheaded the acquisition of Petromin from Aramco, merging the two businesses.As an Executive Board Member of Petromin Corporation, the largest downstream oil business in Saudi Arabia, I played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and developing PetrominExpress, a lube change retail business that has grown into the fifth-largest network in the world today. This remarkable transformation is documented in the book "Omnipreneurship" by Amr Al-Dabbagh (2016). Following this success, I was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Dabbagh Group in Saudi Arabia.My expertise extends beyond the Oil & Gas industry.I have served as a former Board Member of Supreme Foods, the sole supplier of processed chicken to Burger King in the Middle East, and Red Sea Housing Company, a supplier of prefabricated housing solutions for oil exploration companies and armed forces across 55 countries. Additionally, I was a Board Member of Greif Plastic, the largest flexible packaging company, with manufacturing plants in Turkey, Ukraine, Romania, and the UK.
