Undertake work and supervises the work performed by technicians, to achieve quality and compliance with airworthiness requirements as per current manufacturers recommendation, approved Maintenance Schedule, Technical Notices and other instructions.Primarily responsible to Inspection, repair, replacement of aircraft components in accordance with standard aviation practices and manufacturers recommendations.Ensure that work areas are properly maintained and that shop equipment, special tools and test equipment are returned to designated locations. Reports to Aircraft Engineer any abnormality or defect noted on aircraft/ components in the vicinity of my area of work.Takes all safety precautions while undertaking the assigned tasks (Fire Fighting, electric shorting, inadvertent operation of system etc.) to prevent loss or damage to personnel or equipment. Reports need or shortage of the same to Aircraft Engineers.Performed Removal and Installation of various LRUs like Wheel and brake assemblies, junction boxes etc.Performed Removal and Installation of auxiliary power units.
