These were my responsibilities and tasks I performed at this job role:-Identified and evaluated the organizations risk areas and providing key input to companies operations.-Assessed the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.-Monitored and evaluated the implementation of management's corrective actions to address audit findings.-Worked with other departments to ensure a comprehensive audit approach and to share best practices.-Verified the comparative statements and purchase orders according to companies policies and checked the compliance in order to make the procurement process smooth.-Verified the petty cash report on daily basis according to audit parameters to minimise the risk of cash fruad.-Verified the quantity of scrap material produced during production and ensured that it is charged to relevant production order.-Verified timely consumption of material in SAP. -Did physical stock count on periodic basis.Verified open delivery orders (DOs without invoices) according to standard operating procedures (SOP). Checked the invoices are posted against delivery orders.-Involved in stock takes, inventory count, cash count and random cycle counting of material from time to time as required. -Audited cash payments of all types as per approved parameters and SOPs in order to minimize the risk of unusual transactions.
