Joined ranks of officers in Army in 1992 and became proud blue berets, Corps of Engineers. Got training as combat engineer, served at variety of administrative and security appointments, worked on different civil engineering projects. Due to personal inclination towards media, volunteered for Inter Services Public Relations (Media Wing of Pakistan Army) in 2004, got selected and serving till 2016. Honourably completed mendatory service of 26 years by 31 December 2016 and opted for retirement at the rank of Major. -25 years at Military enabled me to learn Command, Security and administration as per strict military standards gave worthwhile experience of resources and man management.-Worked as a media aide to high profile Military Commanders.- Can effectively reach out and access opinion building individuals and build PR Bridge.Being a PR guy for Armed Forces gained valuable patience to interact with aggressive and hostile media.-Wide knowledge of different public relations practices, ways and means to reach out. Through trying times learned damage control and crisis management.-Almost two decade long experience in Broadcast, Social and Print media. Extensive knowledge of online platforms for PR distribution.-Proud of personal skills in written and verbal communications.-Able to create and nurture with ease a network of different media contacts. Friendly and jovial nature and a big circle of friends.-Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and capacity to pursue mission independently.Great time management skills and able to organize schedules efficiently.-Event management as an extension to PR activities.-Having worked with senior military commanders, local and International Media ;gifted in logically analyzing and developing the right responses for seniors and relations alike.Being “Ex-Military” Loyalty is my topmost priority.
