Dr. Waheed Hashem is a Senior Geologist with a solid educational background and diversified academic and practical experience. Dr. Waheed has accumulated a wealth of 30-years experience in teaching of Earth Sciences, and a broad range of field-based geological studies that extended to different subjects of geology involving; Structural Geology, Engineering Geology, Stratigraphy, Terrain Mapping, and Site Investigation. This experience is burnished by transferring knowledge for younger generations through university teaching. Dr. Waheed is well versed in numerous geological researches and multiscale projects in Egypt, Middle East, and African Countries. His participated projects included consultancy and design services for mixed-use developments, master planning of cities, geological mapping; geohazard assessment for project locations (e.g. cities, dam, tunnels, shafts, roads, railway, groundwater, and infrastructure utilities) and supervision of geological/geotechnical investigations and review of results.Furthermore, Dr. Hashem possesses advanced skills in various software applications.
