Road geometric design (surface modeling, plan, alignment, profile, corridor, cross section, quantity, plan profile sheets etc.) Surveying by making exact measurements and providing relevant data to shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features on or near the earth's surface for civil engineering and construction projects.Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.Assist the Project Manager in carrying out the field surveys.Advising Project Manager of necessity of overtime to meet project milestones.Liaise with other agencies (Consultants/Contractors) to coordinate the survey work.Prepare neat sketches to support the field work.Preserve all the survey information (field books, sketches & calculations).Complete all surveying assignments on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.Supervise and coordinate construction activities/works to achieve construction in accordance with the Contract Documents.Act as the point of contact for Contractors.Review shop drawings against the IFC drawings and make necessary proposals as per site requirements.Propose solutions to the specified construction/design issues.Monitor and manage the as built records.Fully accountable and responsible for ensuring the Project Safety Plan (PSP) is in place and functioning from the beginning of the project; participates in PSP development.Monitor and coordinate all matters between contractors and all concerned Authorities.Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Construction of Quay wall (Level-18m) for Container berths (General/Bulk/RO-RO) Length=3.5km, Breakwaters, dredging channel basin (level-18m) and Reclamation works, Quay Aprons and Landward beam for crane rails, Marine Services Center jetty with fingers (Piers, Piles and Precast girders/slab), Jetty Aprons, Fenders, Bollards, etc. Also includes construction of Container Terminal/ Stack yard (Area= 3.5x0.8sqkm) with RTG crane beams/runway. Gate Complex area and Customs area with all Utilities and services such as Potable and Fire network system, Drainage storm water and Sewerage network system with Pump stations, Sewerage treatment plant (STP) and Oil Interceptor tanks. Well designed with internal Asphalt roads, parking area, Toll gates/Check posts, Street lightening, etc. Electrical Power station, Sub stations and network of LV/MV power lines. Telecommunication System, CCTV, Construction of Port/Customs/ Government/Marine services buildings, Warehouses, Workshops, Sheds, Reefer towers, Roads, Boundary fencing, etc.
