There is no greater satisfaction and happiness than seeing someone’s excitement when they tell you about their first internship, job, paycheck, or a scholarship abroad. I love helping people and being a part of their learning and development journey. Currently, I am managing the internship and job placement program in the Department of Space Science at IST. Specializing in fostering impactful learning and development experiences, I have successfully managed internships and job placements, achieving a 100% placement rate for candidates. Experienced in developing and leading workshops and training, I actively contribute to career development initiatives. As a proactive collaborator, I have established key partnerships with industry organizations. Adept at effective communication and cross-functional teamwork, I am committed to driving positive outcomes for students and organizations alike. I wear different hats as the day passes. By noon, I am either working as a lecturer or I am managing Final Year Projects. In my role as a Lecturer and FYP Coordinator, I have honed my skills in academic leadership and project management. With a focus on transparent communication and meticulous record-keeping, I facilitate seamless FYP project assessments and presentations, maintaining a 100% on-time schedule. These experiences have equipped me with the organizational prowess and educational insight essential for roles in training, education management, and learning and development. However, in my free time, I am always doing something related to Data Science and AI. I like data analysis and storytelling through beautiful graphs and charts. My first experience with machine learning was when I took an extra course during my masters in Germany and I got fond of those pretty colorful plots. I was impressed by how much information those plots could convey. And about predictive machine-learning models, I was surprised that those models could predict and estimate the target variable value with more than 90% accuracy. It felt like magic. I was awarded a fully funded scholarship by the European Union to study for my Masters. I spent the first semester in Austria, the 2nd in Italy, and 3rd & and 4th in Germany. I traveled and fell in love with the culture, people, and food. This journey ignited a love for languages. Currently at B1 in French, aiming for C1, I'm excited to master German, Spanish, and sign languages next year. P.S. I am a strong advocate of EDI and social justice. If social justice is in place, it can bring all other values like a domino effect.
