Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Wahyu served as a policy advisor and legislative strategist to a Member of Parliament. He also worked as a media and communication specialist in the Asia Development Bank – National Development Planning Agency on high-profile, multi-sector projects in water infrastructure. Other career highlights include communication operatives for a number of government projects, presidential and gubernatorial campaigns.Wahyu’s career in communication started off with working as a broadcast journalist for six years at Metro TV and Astro TV, as a news producer specialized in politics, national security, parliament, law, and macroeconomy.Wahyu holds Bachelor of Law from the University of Indonesia and Master of Law in International Human Rights from Universiteit Utrecht, the Netherlands. He is also a non-practicing attorney licensed from the Indonesian Bar Association. In addition, he is an adjunct lecturer in media law course at the Kwik Kian Gie School of Business.
