Northeast Territory

Responsible for the sales and relationships in the Northeast Territory for Conn Selmer.

Forest, Va

Brainstorming and sharing ideas, concepts, and experiences that will grow the instrument rental business for our affiliates. Social Media, training and trade shows are also a large portion of my responsibilities.

Mid-Atlantic Region

I grew sales an average of 7% annually along with marketing and training to retail accounts from North Carolina through Pennsylvania. This involved accurate forecasting both dollars and units on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. In addition to existing accounts, I analyzed potential new accounts and opened 5 new accounts that contributed 30% to the annual growth in the territory. In addition to working with retail accounts, I organized and arranged the representation of our company at trade shows in the territory, including scheduling, merchandising, logistics, organization and setup of the displays. Interactions in the territory included business owners, store sales representatives, repair technicians, artists, educators in secondary and higher education and end consumers. I also worked with an inside support staff that included customer service, credit, operations, marketing and manufacturing in order to meet performance targets.

Fort Myers, Florida Area

I was responsible for all business for the Southwest Florida area for the retail location based in Fort Myers, Florida. Duties involved weekly visits to 40+ schools and 60+ teachers for sales and service. I was responsible for promotion of the store and rental program at the schools, including the planning of rental meetings, inventory management, repair tracking and collection of past due accounts. As store manager I was responsible for hiring and payroll along with management of store related expenses.
