Responsible for the coordination of agreed monthly production targets of 3 Sour Hydrocarbon Production & Processing Plants. The plants are some of pioneering EOR facilities in the MENA region.Responsibilities include:• Effectively manage facilities integrity through implementing operations integrity strategy whilst maximising production throughput.• Manage and improve operations systems and resources to achieve productivity and performance targets within budget.• Lead HSE initiatives: Area emergency team leader, Chairman for PTW committee for interviewing and issuing certificates for PTW Area Authority, Applicants etc.• Coordinate emergency responses that includes mobilisation of flights, medivac, fire tenders, etc.• Ensure compliance of all production operations activities. Ensure that Critical Tasks related to Asset Integrity-Process Safety Management are undertaken and executed• Ensure the cost-effective/optimum technical performance of assets, staff & contractors under area of responsibility.• Area senior resident: Manage interfaces with authorities and local community. Lead and guide cluster welfare committee. • Foster staff motivation and ensure appropriate training/development to develop the competency of the workforce and meet current/future business needs.• Create & maintain an environment within the cluster which promotes open thinking and desire to succeed to achieve outstanding results.• Manage EPC contractors and provides full support with new projects and facilities improvments to deliver their deliveries and bring improvement in maintainability and operability after the handover.• Sustain effective communication with top management & manage priorities from the different stakeholders.

I co-host " The Modern Family" a weekly LIVE radio chat show on 90.4 FM. We focus on parenting and social issues. We aim at strenghthening the bond between parents and their children to create a stronger society. We also aim at bridging the gap between generations through:1. Effective communications2. Knowledge sharing.3. Deeper understanding of modern challenges facing children, youth & parents.4. Effective cooperation.We invite 1 or 2 guests per week to discuss varous issues in a relaxed environment and very informal style that attracts a wide range of audiences from all walks of life and different cultures that are present in Oman.

My role is to advise the management on areas to invest in new technology. I assess, plan and implement new technology in a wide range of applications such as water management, Energy (conventional & renewable), flare management, materials & corrosion, production metering as well as sour gas treatment and handling. I manage a portfolio of over 20 contracts with a total value over $ 50 Million.The role requires dealing with strategic, technical, contractual and economic aspects of the technology under consideration as well as engaging with internal and external stakeholders to converge towards a single objective.My tasks include searching for available technological solutions and negotiating contracts. Where there is no known technological solution available, I collaborate with the industry and research institutes to conduct R&D programs to create new solutions. Another art of my tasks is compiling technology-related data from across PDO covering the last 5 years analysing expenditure vs. benefits to conclude on the value obtained from the technology spend & to draw conclusions on areas for potential improvement & present the results to the shareholders.In addition to the above, I cover the following:-Managing the Shell Technical Support Agreement with PDO where I present 3 times a year to a dedicated shareholders board committee. This is a particularly challenging task where being able to manage people & their expectations is key.-Creating Industry-Academic collaborations through tailored framework agreements with many local universities. I support them in developing their research capabilities to deliver potential solutions to current & future technical challenges.- Leading a multi-disciplinary team to: capture, retain, learn & apply Sour Hydrocarbon knowledge across disciplines and projects, as part of the knowledge management initiative in PDO. The forum also aims at capturing and protecting potential key PDO Sour Hydrocarbon Intellectual Property (IP).

Overseeing the design of sour gas treatment train and utilities in Yibal Khuff Integrated Project. Key responsibilities include:1.Timely and satisfactory completion of the Process Engineering scope in accordance with the project milestones. Interface with other key disciplines to obtain their input and provide input to other discipline documents.2.Reviewing plans, studies and engineering deliverables related to the process discipline during the execution of FEED. 3.Observe HSE guidelines and provide input to the risk management process 4.To identify opportunities to reduce the inherent risk within the process systems through the reduction of equipment count, minimization of leak paths, simplification and remote operations.5.Assist in the identification and application of appropriate process engineering standards.6.Technical query resolution7.To manage the interfaces between the engineering areas/teams and ensure consistency of deliverables.

- Support Production Operation, Commissioning & Plant Startup.- Carry out Problem Troubleshooting.- Process Debottlenecking.- Perform Process Optimisation studies for enhanced oil & gas production.- Conduct Engineering Designs Reviews.- Perform Process Simulations.

- Carry out test trials for a water treatment facility using various technologies such as induced gas flotation and nut shell filtration technologies to separate oil from water.- Coordinate with contractors to keep track of project schedule.- Coordinate with production chemistry laboratories to perform tests and analysis.- Review vendor designs and ensure compliance with PDO standards.- Build a comprehensive test and sampling schedule.- Report results and present recommendations of suitable technology for future investments.
