I produced and co-hosted Rework (rework.fm), Basecamp's branded podcast, as part of a team of two.

I produced and hosted The Distance (thedistance.com), a narrative podcast featuring the stories of privately held businesses that are at least 25 years old. (These businesses were not Basecamp customers.) The Distance started as written features before transitioning to audio.

I was the Tribune's technology reporter on the Business desk. I covered Motorola's turnaround attempts and eventual split into two separate companies and originated beat coverage of Chicago's startup scene, including Groupon's founding through its IPO. I made frequent appearances on local television and radio, including WTTW and WBEZ, to discuss my beat coverage, and was a finalist for Best Technology Reporting in the Chicago Headline Club's Peter Lisagor Awards in 2013.

I covered emerging economies in Latin America, Europe and Asia ex-Japan, with a focus on Latin America and fixed income. I interviewed emerging market finance ministers and central bankers, and was also part of the eight-person reporting team at the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Spring Meetings in April 2007. Several of my stories were republished in the Wall Street Journal.

I provided daily coverage of Argentina’s corporate sector, stock market, economic indicators, and sovereign debt restructuring as part of a three-person bureau. Several of my stories were republished in the Wall Street Journal.
