Founder and Creative Producer of Wail of a Tale Productions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educational documentary films, I am an advocate for inclusive, ethical leadership and an experienced researcher with over 20 years in academic and investigative work on power dynamics, public policy, and social equity. Through my Independent Producer role and Wail of a Tale, I’ve produced films that bring vital issues to light, from U.S. education policy and its impact on marginalized students to immigration, health, and domestic violence policies. My documentary work, including The Take Over of Testing and Maria’s Story, Undocumented Violence, has broken new ground, illuminating systemic issues with empathy and rigor.My background includes a Master’s in Political Science, studies in Public Health and Administration, and academic honors for research on religion and domestic violence, educational policy, and Eastern European and U.S. policy analysis. I’ve shared my expertise globally at leading conferences on public health, Eastern European Studies, and domestic violence, and am a passionate educator with experience engaging audiences at colleges, schools, and public film premieres.Since 2020, I have been a leader in the Long COVID community, advocating for those impacted by this chronic illness and helping to bridge public health policy and real-world support needs. Through presentations and partnerships with global leaders in public health, research, and medicine, I am committed to addressing the profound social and economic challenges that COVID-19 has created.In every role—from nonprofit leadership to my service as a Domestic Violence Advocate, documentary film judge, and public health volunteer—I am dedicated to creating positive, lasting change for communities through informed advocacy, research, and storytelling.
