I am a final year student studying B.Sc. (Hons.) in Food Science and Technology at the National University of Singapore. Food science sparked my interest as a kid as I was amazed at how a combination of chemical and food could produce something so delicious, such as the potato chips that we get from the market. My journey in the industry was been enriching and fulfilling as I experienced how different aspect of science intertwines with each other, and impact the food we consume. Research has played a huge part in my journey as a food scientist. Currently, I am interested in how different bioactive ingredients can be used to promote healthier living and curb potential diseases. Nonetheless, I am still keen in taking about laboratory based position to hone my analytical skills. I am currently seeking any potential internship programmes in the summer. I would love the opportunity to expand my skill and knowledge of the food industry, and I look forward to connecting with you!
