Project title: Improving Productivity of Road Surfacing Operations Using Lean Concepts and Discrete Event Simulation in an alliance with Highways England. Duties: comprehensive reviews of literature documenting case studies, and creating a full process simulation using FlexSim software. Achievement: Production of a journal paper.

• C&A general coordinator, SBG Headquarter: Managing all pending approvals; design and materials issues, closing variation orders, coordinating with site operations teams and reviewing any contractual conflicts with suppliers and subcontractors.Achievement: managing a team of engineers to produce a comprehensive report utilising the tools of Autodesk Revit, that summarised the opportunities of savings in time and cost in the project by altering the envelope inclinations of the 30 buildings.• Structural Technical Engineer/ Parcel 1.14: Managing the production process of shop drawings, providing progress reports, following up RFI's, and preparing detailed sketches as required by site utilising Autodesk Revit.• Structural Design Coordinator: Managing and monitoring the structural design process of the 30 towers of the project, producing design progress reports, and running coordination meetings with designers, Management, and site team.• Structural Technical and Site Engineer/ Parcel 2.09: reviewing civil and structural design drawings, producing shop drawings, progress reports, following up RFI's, and providing sketches and details utilising Autodesk Revit. In addition to carrying out inspections and handover of site operations.Achievement: production of all structural shop drawings with minimum revisions. Supervision of on-site structural works of the first building in the project (Parcel 2.09) from foundation to roof.• In-charge of Steel Yard: Managing reinforcement steel purchase orders, fabrication, delivery and distribution on site, and coordinating with suppliers/subcontractors.
