including seven full-time employees and several undergraduate and graduate students

• Manage department-wide annual budget of nearly $4,000,000 (operating portion: $600,000) including the development of projections and procedures leading to an overall increase in revenue (+39%)• Develop department-wide strategic plans
(i.e., department’s three-year strategic plan, career services entree for the campus-wide strategic plan, etc.) leading to an increase in student program participation (+107%), employment opportunities (fair employers: +11%; internship postings: +14%; job postings: +17%), and positive post-graduation outcomes (82% of 2014 graduates going to graduate school or employed with an organization)• Oversee the creation of monthly, mid-year, and annual reporting documents for senior university administrators and academic partners • Develop strategic initiatives for 32 staff members designed to propel the department towards world-class stature (e.g., nationally recognized Career Interest Cluster approach to career development; new career fair model, campus-wide post-graduation outcomes survey, etc.)• Collaborate with the Employer Relations Unit to develop data-centric strategies for employer development (i.e., job/internship gap analysis, outreach rubrics, etc.) and co-chair new two-day mega career & internship fairs• Coordinate major facilities initiatives including the renovation of the Career & Interviewing Center (4,529 sq. ft.) within the Busch Student Center and the construction of a separate Career Development Center (5,516 sq. ft.) • Serve on the University Career Services Senior Leadership Team

• Managed the functions of the Public Relations, Marketing and Assessment Unit • Supervised a staff of 6 (2 graduate assistants, 1 contract employee and 3 undergraduate students) • Analyzed data from programs, career fairs, career courses and counseling appointments for the Center and provide reports to staff and campus leadership • Coordinated the University Graduation Survey, which now has an average overall return rate of 67% (prior return rates were between 15% and 22%) • Continued to develop the Marketing, Assessment and Programs (MAP) database which is used to track which students we serve, collect marketing data as well as hold important assessment data in a fashion that is useable by all staff in the Center • Collaborated with Center’s Learning Outcomes Committee to look at ways to assess organizational effectiveness • Worked with the Employer Relations Team to develop branding opportunities for employers of UM students • Participated in the development of the Annual Report, which includes developing overall themes for the report, providing statistical and demographic data as well as designing the report • Coordinated, recruit for and fundraise for the Student Organization Reception & Employer Networking Dinner doubling employer and student leader participation to 300 • Co-chaired the University’s Fall Career Fair 2009 (average attendance of 4,000 students and 300 employers) • Co-chaired the annual Preparing for Employment in an Inclusive Workplace Conference • Collaborated with the Office of Campus Programs, Alumni Association and the Student Government Associate to implement the annual O.N.E.
