Photography responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with partners in the organization to performing our role in the photography part of documenting Egypt's cultural heritage in its tangible aspects.- Contribute to documentary photography and disseminating information related to heritage through the implementation of many projects for digital documentation of Egyptian heritage using the latest information technology technologies in cooperation with specialized local and international bodies.- Coordinate with the editor and the team members to identify photography needs.- Assign projects to photographers and keep track of the deadlines.- Use various photographic techniques and equipment- Covering events, and visits by photography.- Carry out workshops to teach children photography across many centers.Photo editing responsibilities:- Coordinate and ensure efficient photo editing for the Center's newspapers, magazines, websites, and other publications. - Decide which images to publish.- Ensure all assignments are shot and edited on time for publication.- Stay up to date with new image editing technologies.Scanning and Archiving responsibilities: - Work with Scanning systems from a single computer with a flatbed scanner all the way up to document systems that scan hundreds of pages at one time." Images - Books - Slides - Maps -Posters- Manuscripts - Glass slides - …...Etc.”- Prepare basic project documents for scanning; including, removing staples, mending torn documents.- Review each scanned image for completeness and accuracy, specifically addressing paper jams, folded documents, double feeds, and scan image quality.- Annotating Media files “Metadata entry”.- Storing image files in their own folders while maintaining archive organizational structure.
