I started Walda Bok Properties as a Sole Proprietor in September 2000. My business was run successfully during which time I managed the business while selling real estate as well as handling rentals of flats and houses. I received referrals from almost every client I dealt with since trustworthiness, high ethical standard and total dedication was of key importance to me.

I purchased a Leapfrog franchise servicing the whole of Durbanville area, and parts of Bellville, Kraaifontein and Brackenfell. The main reason for this decision was because I wanted to empower other people with my knowledge and skills and gain more management experience. Seeff Properties offered me a position as their Manager of the Durbanville branch and I accepted the position end of April 2008. My responsibilities were: • Placing and training of agents new to the industry as well as ongoing training for experienced estate agents• Motivation and assisting agents in setting goals and reaching their sales targets and regular interaction with agents in and out of the field• Following market trends to ensure the marketing methods used are applicable to the market • Analysis of expenses in advertising and other marketing tools vs. income • Attending seminars and workshops on marketing of real estate to ensure I stay informed so that I can share this information with my sales team• Prospecting in a Changing Market - Real Estate Expert USA Ed Hatch - 28 May 2008.

I joined SEEFF Residential Properties in August 1993 where I received extensive training in the marketing of real estate. I received many awards for outstanding performance and was one of the Bellville Branch’s top selling agents. I sold in excess of 30 million rands worth of property in a short space of time My success was due to hard work, persistence and the fact that I am very client and service orientated.

Training a sensory panel to evaluate a variety of irradiated and other food products and food product development. Presentations, lectures and food demonstrations were given to the public and outside organizations as well as students from Universities and Technikons. Acting as Personal Assistant to the head of the Food Irradiation Department.
