I'm a computer physicist, educator and a science populariser; an enthusiast of astronomy and astrophysics. I've been involved in the Polish educational system for more than seventeen years. Currently I'm working as a physics teacher in two primary schools in Zielona Gora, Poland and cooperating with different educational organizations. I'm owner of "Waldemar Grabowski Edukacja", President of Space NOW! Fundation, member of the WroSpace Association, Space Ambassador of the European Space Education Office - ESERO Poland, Warsaw and a specialist in the area of education at NewSpace Foundation. I'm also a collaborator at the University of Zielona Gora in the field of physics didactics.Former Chief Specialist at the Kepler Science Centre - Venus Planetarium in Zielona Gora, Poland.On the daily basis, I'm trying to promote teaching of physics and STEAM subjects through fun, experience and inspiration, by combining seemingly incompatible concepts - including those from medicine, astronomy, physics, mathematics or.... geography.I'm co-organizer and presenter of workshops, courses and scientific events as well for students as for teachers on a nationwide scale, including, among others, World Space Week Wroclaw, Space Night Wroclaw and Yuri's Night Wroclaw or "Kosmos w Szkole" at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw. I also conducted trainings on the use of modern technologies in teaching physics at school, incl. the use of satellite data.I was participating in a number of training courses and workshops in Poland and abroad: multiple trainings at CERN in Geneva, the European Space Agency (ESA) in Belgium and the Netherlands, or the NASA Teaching Center in Huntsville, Alabama in the United States.In the past I was also a supervisor of many student teams in prestigious competitions in Poland and abroad, incl. CanSats in Europe Poland, UAV Airborne Delivery Challenge in Australia, AstroPi, Odysseus II, ReMY – Remote Mars Yard and others. In many of them, they achieved many succesess.
