I'm a Computer Engineer with more than 18 years of experience in the software industry, and more than 7 years focused on AI and Machine Learning development, working with cognitive services for video analysis, computer vision problems, speech & audio processing and natural language processing tasks. During several years I've taught as an Auxiliary Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad de la Republica (CETP/UTU – FIng, UdelaR). I have a master's degree in computer science (PEDECIBA - UdelaR) in areas related to operational research, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Currently I lead the development of Cogniflow AI, a No-Code platform that allows non-technical users the creation of intelligent functionalities to take advantage of any type of data in the organization (text, image, audio, video).My current research interests are focused on understanding the evolution of the mind and brain, cognitive biases, consciousness, perception and reality, and how all these issues impact on the development of Artificial Intelligence.
