My love for games and jukeboxes was inherited from my father, who served in the British army during the Second World War. He became one of first to import vinyl jukeboxes and one-armed bandits in to the UK, as a direct result of making friends in the American forces. On his return, he founded The Games Room Company, which I now head today. Growing up surrounded by vinyl jukeboxes and games cultivated a lifelong passion for vintage and contemporary games. I defy anyone not to get a kick out of being around a booming, shiny jukebox or firing away at a pinball table. While I adore Coca-Cola, I find there’s a certain childish thrill to be had in taking a vintage Coke Machine, restoring it back to Grade A1 condition and and filling it to capacity with bottled beers, or quarter bottles of champagne - a playful twist on a classic!The Games Room Company has earned its reputation as a leading provider of high-quality games rooms in the UK and for nearly 20 years, I've led a dedicated team who take immense pride in their work, ensuring every piece arrives in pristine condition and is personally set up on-site.We offer a diverse selection, including bespoke pieces and rare finds seldom seen elsewhere. Every now and then, a unique treasure emerges – my current favourite is an extremely rare 1946 Submarine Torpedo arcade game, The Undersea Raider! The opportunity to acquire this legendary jukebox manufacturer felt like a serendipitous culmination of my family's legacy and my own lifelong passion for jukeboxes. Now under The Waldersmith Group umbrella, Rock-Ola continues to bring joy to music lovers worldwide.
