His leadership at PGTV involves managing and directing a team responsible for producing government programming that serves the residents of Polk County, Florida, ensuring quality, informative content that engages the community.Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Waldo’s creative journey began with a passion for visual storytelling. He pursued industrial design and graphic arts studies, laying the foundation for his expansive career. His early work in Cuba gave him an eye for aesthetic detail and a deep appreciation for architecture, culture, and art. After relocating to the United States, Waldo’s career flourished as he collaborated with several major global corporations.Before transitioning into government television, Waldo was a graphic designer, art director, and industrial designer for prominent firms; in this capacity, I successfully led numerous high-profile campaigns, the past to being Art Director at the prestigious Storecom International firm working for Brands such as Philip Morris, Procter & Gamble, Nestle Latin America, Coca-Cola, Gerber, and more developed comprehensive communication strategies, and fostered strong relationships with media outlets and stakeholders. His contributions in these positions spanned branding, packaging design, and promotional campaigns, all exemplifying his innovative approach and technical expertise.
